Questions, answered
What the scan does, what it does not do, and what happens to your data.
Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. Skintelligent provides cosmetic skincare analysis and educational recommendations. It does not diagnose conditions and does not replace evaluation by a dermatologist or other qualified healthcare professional.
What does the scan actually measure?
Six visible characteristics: tone uniformity, texture, visible pores, hydration appearance, redness and fine lines. Each is tied to the facial region it was read from.
Do I need special hardware?
No. The front camera of a phone or laptop is enough. The interface gives live feedback on distance, angle and lighting before anything is captured.
What happens to my photo?
Nothing is captured until you accept an explicit consent step. Retention is configurable, deletion is yours to trigger, and images are never sold or licensed.
How often should I rescan?
Every four to six weeks is enough for trends to appear. Scores are normalized for lighting and framing so scans taken weeks apart stay comparable.
Can I use Skintelligent in my own store?
Yes. The experience can be embedded in a storefront or called directly through the API. Get in touch through the contact page to discuss a pilot.
